I WANT TO MARRY A POET | Naseeba Magaji

I want to marry a poet,
Our wedding will be on the isle of rhyming words
Committed to each other
In entangled muses.

He shall serve me odes as breakfast,
And lunch will be epics with a touch of ballad
While my dinner be spiced up with pulsating reviews.

We will create children

From the fusion of our diction,
Craving out presents from our tangled past,
And ensure that our future rests solely
On sworn oath of concrete poetry.
