We are Waters-Biachi Ndidi Anointing (Day 16 of KSR 31 Days of Poetry)

Sometimes life is a wave and we are caught up in its drops, wondering at several things. In this poem, Biachi envisions us as those drops. Do enjoy...and comment.

Some are of the lagoons and others of rains
Appealing to desires,
Answers to prayers.

There’s no telling
Of who we are to answer first.

The one who wants communion
With us by allowing himself
To become water and float
Or the two who count
Each drops into a rosary
Fumbling silence into words.

We are longed for
Desired and unwanted
We break into patches answering calls

But, we are cursed for the one who called and not the two.
