SEVHAGE and Konya SHAMSRUMI, popular poetry promoters in Africa are proud to publish a brief history of july part II by the poet, tares oburumu. The chapbook is a collection of twenty-one poems that are “a personal meditation, an autobiographical exploration of a poet, the circumstances of his birth and his immediate lineage.”

tares oburumu is an outstanding Nigerian poet who recently won the 2022 Sillerman Prize for African Poets.
