Our Eyes are Closed till April | Abdulrazaq Salihu

If they had seen the trance
We held in every breath we took,
And untied the tide of time soon,
And with time learnt to live
With eyes closed, then when cherry blooms
And leaves sprout in thousands of sand
April would crawl with a genie and
A Knight to see the sun’s big show.
