The endless cycle of agony
I crave it even when far away
The eternal torment of conflict
Mine, I cradle it
The unforeseen pain
I embrace it like a long lost lover
What’s peace in this heart?
If not a foreigner stuck outside the door
What’s love in this heart?
If not a tale sung by the travellers of old
I’m familiar with love and peace
They want me badly but I hate changes and strangers are no good
Contentment is key
I’ll stick to my woes while staring at the beauty I crave
