Hello Everyone,
Tis the season to be jolly: so, whatever ails your heart, let it go. If only for today.
The general idea is: Have faith, and believe that it will be well because, it surely would be. Worry never solved anything, so why let it take centre stage with you?
Spread love, poetry and let’s make each second count.
From all of us at KSR – Richard Ali, Umar Sidi, Funmi Gaji, Rasaq Malik Gbolahan, Carl Terver, Mohammed Dikko and Su’eddie Vershima Agema – have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year ahead.
sailing on a sea of stars by s. su’eddie vershima agema
(for you, us and everyone of us)
on this night, i am sailing on a sea of stars
to lands that are far
the moon smiles
and every darkness is forgotten
fires are snuffed to smoke
tales told of all that once was
i shut my soul in flight to the heavens
though the troubles brew strong
i see Aôndo’s hands and i know they are long
enough to destroy everything that is wrong
tonight, for one moment
i will forget every torment
raise my voice in song and forget the noise
on this night, i am sailing on a sea of stars
to lands that are far
the moon smiles
and every darkness is forgotten
