The things they say about love sometimes robs you of the ability to feel.
But the shape of my heart is spherical;
It revolves around the orbit of pampered feelings,
Making satellites of uncommon emotions nurtured by
Earth,
Air,
Fire and
Water.
My heart sings, listens and dances to rhythms from forbidden drumbeats.
It is blind to omens when earthenware-pots break
As it filters the hooting of night owls into lullabies.
I am a traveller stuck between two roads,
My soul trails the path of one, my heart another.
I am consumed by an endless desire for two unlike waters,
One for my soul, another for my heart.
