There is an increasing need for recovery and healing as we drink deep from memory’s well. Register for an international reading from the University of Sussex as the Sussex Writes team, led by Dr Emma Newport, hosts their alumnus, the multiple award-winning writer, activist and arts curator, S. Su’eddie Vershima Agema on a themed reading entitled, Memory, Recovery and Healing.
This is a follow-up to the Sussex Writes Online Creative Writing Global Cafe held on 19th November 2022.
Come to hear Su’eddie read from his work, Memory and the Call of Waters, discuss his writing, and create a welcoming forum to discuss Agema’s approach to writing about memory, wellbeing and ideas of healing. There will be room for questions, answers and resources in a way that would please both writers, readers and the general public.
Please register for the event HERE.
