Richard Ali reads at LABAF ’19

KONYA SHAMSRUMI Collective member and author of The Anguish and Vigilance of Things, Richard Ali, graced the Lagos Books and Arts Festival 2019.

On the 4th of November, 2019, Richard was on a panel moderated by Praxis Hangout where he discussed Indigenous Languages and Translation with JK Anowe and Tee Jay Dan.

Later in the day, at the Writers-Readers’ Convention, Richard Ali reads from his collection of poetry The Anguish and Vigilance of Things (Konya Shamsrumi 2019) Watch the video above where he reads live. It was an evening of conversations, performances and love between writers and readers.
