The 26th edition of the yearly ritual of the LAGOS BOOK & ART FESTIVAL, LABAF, holds November 11-17 at its traditional base, Freedom Park, Lagos Island, as well as Virtually.
Tagged “The Soyinka Year”, the 2024 LABAF celebrates the eminent life and illustrious career of Africa ‘s most garlanded literary artist and “Global Human/Civil Rights advocate and activist, WOLE SOYINKA, in the year of his birth, 90 years ago.
The theme ‘BREAKOUT: This Stubborn Thing called HOPE,’ promises to be an educative, enlightening, and empowering and engaging event.
