In my single nights of pillowed prayers
When my heart is filled with flowing
Niles of passion for my missing bone
I imagine your arms wide enough
to gather our purposeful seed
close to your drumming heart
Your prickly chin tickling my temple
drinking me in with your senses, as
every tune of your being affirms
in unison, Abba’s perfect gift
I know Jesus is writing our love story
On single nights as this when
I can only pray Abba’s will be done
for you and for me. Forever.
