On #WorldPoetryDay, we are pleased to share a recording of a sequence on Al-Arshad, from Nigerian poet Umar Sidi’s collection, The Poet of Dust. This sequence is from the poem, Testament of Sand. Al-Arshad is the Everyman of poetry, who goes by many names, interpreted by many minds, whose day it is today.
